Charlie, Owner & Founder
Charlie Pastick brings years of experience from one of the nation’s largest pool builders, where he developed a deep understanding of construction standards, project management, and large-scale backyard transformations. Leading multiple crews, he gained firsthand insight into both the strengths and limitations of national builders—particularly the lack of local focus and personalized service.
He founded Pool Proz with a different approach: a client-first, design-build experience rooted in trust, transparency, and accountability. Charlie understands that investing in a custom pool or outdoor living space is often one of the most significant decisions a homeowner will make. His focus is on delivering a seamless, well-managed process—guiding clients from concept through completion with clarity and confidence.
By combining technical expertise with a hands-on, personalized approach, Charlie ensures every project is not only built to a high standard, but tailored to how each client lives and uses their space.
Jay Barrette, Project Manager
Jay Barrette brings over a decade of experience in the home inspection industry, where he developed a sharp attention to detail and a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues before they become problems. His background has built a strong foundation in critical thinking, problem-solving, and clear communication—key skills that translate directly into effective project management.
At Pool Proz, Jay focuses on ensuring projects run smoothly from start to finish, coordinating teams and maintaining high standards throughout each phase of construction. He is committed to fostering a collaborative, efficient environment that keeps projects on track and clients informed.
Based in Laguna Niguel, Jay enjoys traveling, hiking with his dog, and spending time riding motorcycles.
